Where’s Hofer? – Austrian president Alexander Van der Bellen in Brussels rant against Brexit | Express.co.uk. Read this: “It’s clear there is no country that is worse off after joining the EU than it was before hand – that is self evident.”. Like Greece? Cyprus? Italy? France? I like when he says “self-evident”.

They the leftists have accused so many people of being living in a, I quote them, “post truth era” that they have gone in full post-truth mode themselves. Alexander Van der Bellen, unfortunately President of Austria instead of Hofer, has the shameless bravery to state, and I quote, because it is unbelievable:

“It’s clear there is no country that is worse off after joining the EU than it was before hand – that is self evident.” No country? We now know that for the europhiles Greece has become a non – country, like Cyprus, another non-country thanks to the EU, and what about Italy? we were certainly richer in 1999 than we are now, and even France is indebted. Italy and France are worse off, Greece and Cyprus are over, till the point you cannot consider them proper countries anymore, Spain and Portugal are also very deep in trouble and I believe Van der Bellen’s proposition is very offensive towards the austerity/poverty hit europeans. I can’t believe he really said this. But he really did.
